7. HNL Legal Aid Updates — SMS terms
The planned HNL Legal Aid Updates program is operated by HHNL LLC. It is currently closed to enrollment. No texts are sent and no active subscription is created by this website. The following describes the scope of a future active program and is also presented on the SMS Program page.
Purpose and content. Informational messages concern a legal-aid information request initiated by the recipient: request confirmations, requests for additional information, status updates, agreed contact or appointment reminders, and requested resources. The program does not cover promotional campaigns or unrelated marketing.
Consent. Enrollment requires an affirmative, separate choice using an active enrollment channel. All consent boxes are unchecked by default. Providing a mobile number or agreeing to general terms does not, by itself, enroll a recipient. You must own or be authorized to use the number. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase or of receiving non-SMS assistance.
Frequency and charges. Message frequency varies based on the request and communications; there is no fixed daily or monthly schedule. Message and data rates may apply under the recipient’s wireless plan.
STOP. For an active subscription, reply STOP to the program’s sending number to opt out. A confirmation may be sent; additional program messages will stop unless a new opt-in is provided. Contact the company if you change your number or need help with an opt-out.
HELP. For an active subscription, reply HELP to the sending number or email matthew@hhnlcompany.com. This website does not process STOP or HELP commands.
Delivery and content limits. Availability and delivery depend on carriers and devices. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages are not legal advice, an emergency service, or a deadline-monitoring service. Do not send sensitive case information in a text.
